Members' progressive capabilities are reflected in clusters such as software-based products and services, aerostructures, highly engineered niche products, composites, military maintenance repair and overhaul, acoustic sensors, ROV & AUV value chains and offshore marine energy. ADIANS encourages the expansion of Nova Scotia's vibrant industry through the identification of development and promotional opportunities. The strong industry base in aerospace, defence and ocean related sectors, generates annual revenues in excess of $1.1 billion dollars, employing a diversified and highly skilled workforce of 6,500. ADIANS facilitates internal business linkages in addition to those with government, agencies and the larger Primes and OEM’s seeking suppliers, partners and collaborators. The Association assists its members to position themselves globally to access both military and commercial markets and to develop industrial and educational partnerships and lasting relationships. ADIANS also supports the marine security, space technologies and shipbuilding sectors. Nova Scotia industries have a reputation for quality that resonates globally.
