June 13, 2012 Pan-Atlantic Mission to Eurosatory 2012
Planning efforts are now underway for an Atlantic Mission to the Eurosatory International Exhibition, to be held June 11-15, 2012 in Paris, France. The Eurosatory show, held every two years, is the world’s largest international land security and defence tradeshow. In 2010, the event attracted approximately 1,300 exhibitors from 54 countries, with trade attendance reaching nearly 54,000 from 130 countries.
Eurosatory 2012 will provide a unique prospective for Atlantic Canadian companies and provide an opportunity for firms to interact more closely with leading global defence companies including prime contractors with current and potential Industrial and Regional Benefit (IRB) commitments to Canada.
In addition, this event will provide you an opportunity to meet with key decision makers and various international stakeholders. A matchmaking/B2B component will be included as part of the mission in an effort to arrange strategic meetings in advance of the show to assist you in meeting your business objectives and in making the most of your time at the event. The value of these face to face meetings is immeasurable when trying to tap into new international markets and develop potential new business leads and partnership opportunities. A strong Atlantic presence will assist in our efforts to promote Atlantic Canada’s strategic advantages, while showcasing our regional strengths and capabilities to a truly global audience.
Matchmaking efforts will commence in the coming weeks in an effort to develop qualified leads and meeting schedules on behalf of our mission delegation. Please refer to the appended registration package for further mission details and registration form. Please be sure to complete/return the registration form promptly to enable efficient coordination of the matchmaking program.
